During the time of COVID-19 ADHD Counseling has moved to Telehealth appointments for everyone. Many of our clients seek help for school issues: inattention, hyperactivity, and lack of focus. However, additional problems can surface for the ADHDer.

Did you know it is almost certain for the ADHDer to develop anxiety or depression at some point in their life? With those odds, it is always best to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Unfortunately amidst COVID-19, many are unprepared for the worst.

That’s where Telehealth for ADHD comes in! Telehealth has been proven to be just as effective in treating ADHD, Anxiety and Depression as in person sessions. With a mixture of ADHD coaching, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy we have a recipe for success in these times of uncertainty.


How is Telehealth just as effective as in person sessions?

Is Telehealth private and secure? Of course!

We use an HIPPA compliant and encrypted video services through SimplePractice. An Electronic Health Record system designed specifically for Counseling and Therapy. At the time of your appointment you’ll receive a unique link to your session that you alone with have.

What will a session consist of?

Sessions will be highly collaborative! We will discuss what is working, what’s not and how we can perfect those things that won’t fall into place. Whilst incorporate mindfulness based techniques and activities to help calm the mind and body we can focus our attention on new skills. Lastly, we’ll use Acceptance and Commitment therapy to have a new frame of reference to help us cope with anything new that may arise.
